RATES & REGISTRATIONS

The workshop will be an in-person event, taking place on 9-10 June 2026 at The EGG Brussels.

Registration for the workshop entitles participants to

  • access to the 2 days of the workshop
  • attend all the workshop sessions (oral presentations, keynote speeches, round tables)
  • attend the poster sessions
  • access the workshop app
  • access the proceedings (full papers) online in advance of the workshop
  • access the technical presentations of the event (after the event)
  • receive the delegate package handed out upon registration
  • participate in the welcome reception on Tuesday 9 June (1 person)
  • access morning and afternoon coffee breaks
  • access lunches
  • present 1 accepted paper

Lunches: Lunches (buffet) for both days are included in the registration fee.

Welcome reception: The welcome reception will be held at the end of the day on 9 June inside the Exhibition and Catering area. The reception is included in the registration fee.

Workshop Rates

Each participant (including authors) will have to pay a registration fee to take part in the workshop.

  • Early and late rates : To be granted the early rate, registration and payment must be received on or before 15 April. After this date, the late rate is applicable. Late rates must be received by June 2, after this date an extra charge of €100 per registration will be applied. In any case, the payment must reach us before the event. Purchase orders are not considered as confirmed payments.
  • Student/PhD rate : a proof of student status is requested (e.g. copy of student card) during the registration process. To be eligible to this rate, you must work at full-time for a university.
  • Last minute rate: An extra charge of €100 per registration will be applied after 2 June.

Authors

Authors of accepted papers must register and pay the registration fee by 22 April to confirm the presentation of their paper. The participation and registration of the main author or one of the co-authors in the workshop is mandatory to present and publish the paper (maximum one paper presented by registered author). Every accepted and presented paper will published on a range of digital platforms including IET library, IEEE Xplore, IET Inspec, Ei Compendex, and Scopus.

HOW TO REGISTER

  • Go to the registration website
  • Create or log in to your account
  • Click on “Register for CIRED 2026 Brussels Workshop” and follow the instructions. Don’t forget to mention the ID of the paper you will be presenting, if any.

Confirmation and Visa Invitation letters

Confirmation letters for authors of accepted contributions are downloadable through the submission/registration website, on your Overview page. Please note that confirmation letters are available for authors of accepted submissions only.

Visa Invitation letters are also downloadable through the submission/registration website, on your Overview page. Please note that VISA invitation letters are only available to registered participants in order of payment. Each participant has to check if they need a visa to enter the country and to start the mandatory process on time.

PAYMENT INFORMATION

We offer you the possibility to either pay online through a secured website (credit cards, debit cards, online payment systems) or by bank transfer. We encourage online payments as they are immediate. In contrast, bank transfers might take long internal procedures to be processed, it is the participant’s responsibility to ensure the payment arrives in accordance with the deadlines. Purchase orders are not considered as payments.

After completion of the registration form, an automatic invoice is sent to the specified email address (invoicing details, VAT nr. and address can be introduced in the form).

The invoice must be paid in EUR without any charges for the organiser.

CANCELLATION – REPLACEMENT – REFUND

In the event of cancellation and provided that written notice is received by 2 May at the latest, a refund of 80 % of the workshop registration fee will be made. The report of the registration fee for another person will be accepted at any time before the workshop provided that the organiser is notified in advance. After 2 May, no refund will be provided.
